The Mind Gym
Experience a FREE hands-on day focused on resilience, recovery, and performance. Learn strategies for sleep, nutrition, and PTSD awareness, participate in a functional workout, and explore recovery tools like cryotherapy, red light therapy, and sauna sessions. Finish the day with a group rhythm session led by Rick Allen and Laura Monroe designed to relieve stress and reset your mind. Fresh start breakfast and lunch included. Come in workout attire and be ready to move. Only 30 spots available, first come, first served.
Kids Hero Run!
The Kids Hero Run is a fun-filled community event designed to celebrate the strength, spirit, and energy of our local youth.
Join us at San Carlos Beach Park on Saturday, March 7 from 10am–2pm for an afternoon of movement, family activities, and waterfront excitement. Whether your child comes dressed as their favorite hero or simply ready to run, this event is all about encouraging confidence, health, and community connection while supporting the Monterey Firefighters Community Foundation.

Movie On The Beach
Come put your toes in the sand and enjoy a movie out on the beach!
You and your family are invited to join us for a FREE beachside screening of Disney Pixar’s LUCA. Pack a blanket and get ready for a tale of friendship, summer adventures, and finding the courage to be yourself - a movie fit for all ages!
Come early, meet your local firefighters and grab some popcorn before you snag a good spot on the beach. A local food truck will be onsite with dinner and drink options for purchase. We look forward to seeing you there!
Kids Hero Run
Come join your local firefighters for our Kids Hero Run on Sunday April 6th from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Custom House Plaza - Monterey Historic Park, by Fisherman’s Wharf along the recreational trail.
This is a family friendly event for kids ages 2-17. This is the first time we’ve been able to offer this event COMPLETELY FREE for the community so we’re excited to tell you about it! Come dressed as your favorite superhero and run through a series of inflatable obstacle courses, one of which is 135 feet long!
The first 200 kids will receive a free superhero cape and gold medal at the finish line!
This is a FREE EVENT! Come out and have a great time with the whole family!
